Maitri Sadan is a communication and dialogue centre of Divine Word Missionaries, popularly known as SVD’s. it promotes religious harmony, brotherhood, art and culture through inter religious discourses, music, dance and drama and modern communication means. Shanti Sandesh is one of the department of Maitri Sadan. Shanti Sandesh was started in the year 1994, and was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Joseph Pathalil of Udaipur Diocese on 16 August 1994.
Shanti Sandesh is a joint venture of the Diocese of Udaipur, SVD Fathers and the S.Sp.S (Missionary Sisters of the Servants of Holy Spirit) Sisters. Fr. Norbert Herman is the Director of Maitri Sadan.
We have inter-religious library and sarva dharm temple so as to know and appreciate different religions and their teachings.
