CRI Recollection of Udaipur Zone

October 19, 2018: It was a holiday for Dussereha. On this day, CRI Udaipur Zone came together for a day of recollection at Maitri Sadan, Udaipur. The local CRI President, Udaipur Zone, Fr. Norbert Herman SVD welcomed warmly the members of this zone, calling out each congregation’s name for a day of recollection and invited Rev. Dn. Dileep Bhuriya SVD of Jhadol Mission, the animator of the recollection, with a garland and shawl. He began his talk with a meaningful song, namely, “Rahon mein kaante agar ho rukh na nahi chalte jana“. The main focus of the recollection was “The challenges for religious life in the modern world”. He presented his talk with the help of PowerPoint Presentation. He also asked the group to discuss the following questions: 1. How are we going to face the challenges those will be coming to our way as we move ahead with the mission of Jesus Christ? and 2. Why is the religious life-which has contributed enormously to the spiritual growth of the individual, the church and the humanity, come under such a dark cloud? Nearly 6 different religious congregation members were present totaling 27. After his presentation, the members were divided into two groups to discuss and share the questions given to them. During the mass, after the gospel reading, the representative of the groups shared their thoughts and views to the other members. Before lunch, vote of thanks was proposed by Vedturna Sisters of Simalwada. Thanks to Fr. Sagayadass SVD, Br. Ashwin Kiro SVD, Sr. Roselin SSpS who assisted in various arrangements of the day.
