Motivational speaker, Fr.Norbert Herman SVD, Director of the Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh, Udaipur conducted one day Motivational Seminar for the students of St. Teresa Vidya Deep, Savina. The seminar was held on 29th October 2012 in the school auditorium. It comprised of talks about goal of life, self discipline, perseverance, and leadership. The seminar started by invoking the grace of God. After the brief welcome note, Fr. Norbert Herman began the session by asking the students to share their dreams of life.
After the sharing of their dream Fr. Norbert gave an inspirational talk on how much of self discipline and perseverance is required to achieve anything in life.
There was a group discussion on ‘the challenges of our country and my role as a student’. Participants presented a well discussed report in which they mentioned that Corruption, Gender Discrimination, Environmental issues, Poverty, Unemployment, etc are the greatest challenges of Present day India. The seminar was motivational and fun filled. Inspirational video clips and Fr. Norbert’s melodious Mewari and Malvi singing captured the attention of the children. A movie named ‘I am Kalam’ was apt for the event. There were more than 200 children present in the seminar. Students felt that the seminar was successful in increased their confidence to achieve their dreams. Principal Sister Ranjana PSA thanked Fr. Norbert for inspiring the student and the teachers.
