Vishwa Jyothi Communication Centre, Varanasi, under the leadership of Fr. Anand Mathew IMS performed street plays based on social and human values such as, Save Water, Save Girl Child, Women Empowerment, Environment, Peace and Harmony. There were nine artistes from Prerana Arts Group and five street plays for each school. Together with their presentation, the artistes interacted with the school children after every play. This troop also had presentation in Asha Dham Ashram, a Destitute Centre as well as Fatehsagar Lake for the people of the town. It was very enriching and conscientizing programme and they brought awareness among the children and their parents. So far, 8600 presentations were given by them to various schools in India. 40 lakh people have witnessed so far these street plays. Sarvadharma Maitri Sangh organized this event for the school children under the leadership of Fr. Dr. Norbert Herman SVD.
