Most Rev. Devprasad John Ganawa, SVD along with Fr. Norbert Herman, SVD paid visit to Ajara Mission on February 11, 2020 in the morning hours. He was warmly welcomed by Fr. Felix Lobo and his Team. Fr. Minin Wadkar OFM CAP, Bro. Reagan Martins and SFN Sisters were present.
In the afternoon, the Bishop celebrated the Holy Eucharist for the Nurses of the Goa Unit of the Catholic Nurses Guild at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ajara and felicitated the Nurses and Doctors who had come to facilitate a day of Medical Camp for the boarders and the underprivileged pupils and lay people that was co-ordinated by Mrs.Goretti Martins, Mrs. Selma and Mrs. Syloni Monteiro. The Bishop also visited three other mission stations, namely, Gavase, Watangi and Khanapur.
On the 12th of February, the Bishop met the children of the Rosary English Medium School during the assembly where bishop was felicitated on behalf of the parish and the school.
