Udaipur, July 8,2013 Sarvdharm Maitri Sangh Organized Special prayer for the flood victims. Program began with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Rev.Fr.Subhas Ananad of St.Pauls School, Md.Akhta Md.Baksh of Muslim Maha Sabha and other dignitaries. Program began with Sarv dharm Prayer for the flood victims and two minutes silence was observed.
The Chief Guest Fr.Subhas said that God helps those who help themselves. Thus Prayer is a call to take up responsibilities towards the needy. How this tragedy occured? Nature never imposes but human beings do it. Thus we have build dams, constructed houses and deforested. Now it is a time to take up challenges to be honest and preserve environment.
Md.Akhtar thanked the gathering for making efforts towards unity and peace among all. There wasa note books distribution for the poor children of the Colony. The local hosts Mr.Dinesh Rao, Manju Rao, Pramila Fernandez and Manju Sonigara worked tirelessly to make this event a unique one.
