Central jail, Udaipur.

Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh organized a cultural program at central jail on 4th January 2015. After the formal check up and formalities, we went inside the jail. there were 1200 jail inmates. Mr. Mushtaq Chanchal, the cultural coordinator of Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh, the Master of the Ceremony, began the program by saying that Sarva dharma Maitri Sangh has come to see smile in the inmates of the prison. Fr. Norbert Herman SVD, the director of Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh lead the gathering into Sarva Dharma prayer.

The Children from Jhadol and St. Mary’s Sr. Sec. School, Fatehpura gave a beautiful dance performance to the songs ‘Nagda sangh Dol Bhaje, Ek Sitara Ambar Ke thara, Veer thapasya ki raat, I Love my India,’ which created a real mood of celebration.

Most Rev. Bp. Devprasad Ganawa SVD, the chief Guest in his message said that Whenever there is sadness, loneliness, hopelessness, among the human being, God comes to be with the human being. He comes it is because God loves the human being so much. God is love. We should learn to live in love.

Some of the inmates of the prison also came to the stage and performed beautiful dance. Mrs. manju Sonigara, the Secretary Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh, Mr. George Thomas, the Principal, St. Gregorious, Mr. Rajan Scaria, the Principal, Mahaveer Sr. Sec. School, Sisters from St. Mary’s Convent and Prabhudasi Ashram were the dignitaries on the dice.

Mr. Ganesh Tripati, the Jail Superintend, Mr. Mahaveer Prasad, the Jailer appreciated and thanked Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh for the wonderful Program. At the end Mrs. Pramila, the vice President of Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh proposed the vote of thanks.
