CRI Recollection: Udaipur Unit

The Udaipur Unit of Religious organized one day recollection to reflect on the theme “Consecrated Life” on 29th December, 2014 at Maitri Sadan. Recollection began at 9.20 am with an introductory note by the CRI organizing team. Fr. Norbert Herman SVD, the President, Sr. Ajaya, the Vice President, Sr. Kiran PSA, the Secretary, and Sr. Suchita FSMA, the Coordinator invited all the religious to begin a fruitful reflection on the theme. After the lighting of the Lamp and formal Welcome, Fr. Norbert Introduced Fr. Alfred SVD, the youngest Religious and  the resource person of the day. Sr. Clementina FSMA the senior most religious present and Fr. Alfred the youngest Religious present were felicitated.

 Fr. Alfred began his talk saying bloom where you are planted. He elaborated his theme with an invitation to commitment to follow Christ. The stress on his whole talk was to put Christ first and give witness to Him. He put forward a serious challenges how we the religious are comfortable in our own institutions. He ended his talk with a note “either renew or to let it die”.

Fr. Norbert Herman SVD, chairing the session, invited all the religious to share their life experience. All shared their own experience of being a religious. After the Tea break there was adoration and followed by mass. The recollection ended with a agape meal.
