26 January2014, The Religious of Udaipur gathered at Maitri Sadan for one day Prayer and Reflection. Rev. Fr. Andrews Lobu SVD was the preacher for the Recollection. He stressed in his talk on the type of Leader ship we must have as religious. Today our new Pope Francis is trying to show an exemplary way of Life by serving the poor and the needy without any discrimination. We need to relook to up- lift the society by rendering valuable service to the people though the ministries that we are engaged.
There was an active participation from all .There was a group discussion on the question, ‘Jesus as a leader united the people taught them to do the same. Do you feel today that as religious leaders are we all united or divided? If united how are we united? If divided why are we divided? There was also an inspirational video presentation by Br. Joseph SVD.
Finally Rev. Fr. Norbert Herman SVD the Director of Maitri Sadan proposed a vote of thanks and also stressed that Christ broke himself on the Cross to unite us, are we ready to break ourselves to unite the people of God?
