Inter-School Patriotic competition on 27th July, 2016

Dear Principal,
Greetings from Sarvadharma Maitri Sangh, Udaipur,which works for peace and harmony, value education, inter-faith values and promotes local cultural and social wellbeing in Udaipur.
On the Occasion of the 69th Independence Day celebrations, Sarvdharm Maitri Sangh is organizing a Series of Competitions to help the school children inculcate patriotism and value education and to become better citizens of India. This is the 9th successful year of initiating the mission of encouraging the children for the commitment towards our Mother Country.
This year, Sarvdharm Maitri Sangh has decided to organize Group Song, group dance, essay, speech, Poetry as well as drawing competitions on patriotic and social themes starting from 30July, 2016. Competitions will be held at various schools in Udaipur. The Winners will be awarded various attractive prizes and the participants will be given certificates on the program day.
We are glad that Ryan International School, St. Anthony School, St. Teresa School, St.Paul’s School and The Universal Academy have come forward to strengthen organizing of these Patriotic events. We gratefully acknowledge their generous contributions and thank all the principals and teachers of the schools for supporting us in this noble cause.
1. Essay Competition : 30. 07.2016 at 9:30 am
• One each from each Category ( Only two participants from the school)
• 5rd Std. up to 8th std Theme – Save Girl Child, Peace- & Harmony, Environment
• 9th Std. up to 12th std Theme – Mewar Ke Veer, Women Empowerment
• Venue: The Universal Sr.Sec.School, 8 Old Fatehpura
2. Poetry Competition : 03.08.2016 at 9.00 am
• One each from each category (only two participants from the school)
• 5th Std.up to 8th std Theme Mewar Ke Veer, Save Girl Child, Child Labor
• 9th Std. up to 12th std Theme terrorism, Women Empowerment, Environment, any patriotic
• Venue: St. Paul’s School, Bhupalpura, Udaipur
3. Drawing Competition : 06.08.2016, at 9 am
• One participant from each below mentioned Categories (only two students from school)
• 5rd Std. up to 8th std Theme – Save Girl Child, Child Labor
• 9th Std. up to 12th std Theme Unemployment, Environment, Peace- & Harmony, Mewar Ke Veer, Women Empowerment
• Venue : Ryan International School
4. Speech competition: 10.08.2016 at 9 am
• One participant in each below category ( two students from School)
• 5th up to 8th Theme Mewar Ke Veer Ek Nazar mei, Save Girl Child
• 9th Std. up to 12th std Theme Mewar Ke Veer, Women Empowerment, Peace- & Harmony, Environment,
• Duration: 5 min. Maximum
Venue: St.Teresa Sr.Sec.School, University Road
5. Patriotic Song Competition: 12.08.2016 at 9 am
• Group Song: 10 to 12 students (One Group)
• Instruments : Tabla, Harmonium (Keyboard) etc.
• Duration : 4 – 6 Min (Mikes will be off after 6th Minute)
• Theme : Any Patriotic / Peace and Harmony or Unity, Environment, save girl Child, Women Empowerment etc.
• The teachers can accompany the students in playing instruments (not for singing)
• Criteria : Non-Filmy, Originality, Presentation, Participation, Rhythm and Theme
• Venue : St.Anthony Sr.Sec.School, Goverdhan Vilas
6. Patriotic Group Dance: 14.08.2016, at 5 pm
• 10 to 12 students (One Group)
• Theme: Women Empowerment, Terrorism, Save Girl Child, Child Labor, Unemployment, Environment ,Any Patriotic / Peace and Harmony or Unity
• Duration: 4 – 6 Min (Music will be off after 6th Minute)
• Criteria: Creativity, Originality, Choreography, Presentation and Uniformity
• Any harmful things will not be allowed and will be considered as disqualified in the dance presentation (Such as fire etc.)
• Venue: Auditorium – Venue will be informed later.
7. Independence Day :16.08.2016 at 2 pm (Celebration at Central Jail Udaipur) –
Winners will perform at Central Jail for the inmates
Note: Language for all the Competitions will be in Hindi

Your contribution for this noble cause would be very much appreciated.
Students, teachers and parents are most welcome to encourage the children. We have to offer our very special thanks particularly to the Principals and management of St. Gregorios School, St. Anthony School, Alok Sr.Sec.School, St. Teresa School, Ryan International and The Universal Academy for coming to our help when special arrangements need to be made for this program.
This year Rotary Club of Udaipur, Mewar as well as The Universal School are collaborating in Organizing competitions with Sarvdharm Maitri Sangh.
