Udaipur , 24-01-14 Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh organized a cultural Programme to celebrate the Republic Day with the inmates of the Central Jail Udaipur. The programme began with the Sarva Dharma Prayer. The Natyansh Group under the direction of Rekha Sisodia entertained the inmates with an entertaining street plays. Poet Bhavani Shankar entertained with his Mewadi Poems.
The artists from Maitri Sadan Harshika, Anukrishna, &Loveny danced on the Patriotic themes while Mr. Harsh Paliwal sang the tunes of the Patriotic Songs. Fr. Norbert Herman SVD thanked deputy superintend , Mr. Sravan Kumar the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries Jailors; Harprasad , Suresh Kumar , Onkarlal & Bhagirath from the Central Jail.
The other special honorable persons were Sr. Suchita from St. Mary’s Convent Fatehpura, the Jag Nagarik Seva Samiti founder Mr. Akthar Siddiqui , Fr. Subhash Anand from St. Paul’s ,Mrs. Pramila Fernadez & Anu Jess. Mr. Mustaq Chanchal anchored the Programme with his Poetic style.
